Happy Girl Scout Leader Appreciation Day and Volunteer Month!

Girl Scout Leader Appreciation Day: April 22nd

Thank you for creating a supportive environment where we can build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place!

Girl Scout Leader Appreciation Day is a day of recognition for adult volunteers in Girl Scouting. Although volunteers are always appreciated, it is during these special days that we take the time to acknowledge that our volunteers are the lifeblood of Girl Scouts of NassauCounty. Our Girl Scout volunteers make an enormous impact on the girls they mentor, motivate, and inspire.
They are the everyday heroes and guides who introduce girls to new life-changing experiences and help them discover their passions.

We encourage the girls, their families and Girl Scout communities to plan special gestures to show appreciation for the Girl Scout volunteers in their lives.

Want to thank the special Girl Scout volunteer in your life, past or present, for being so amazing? Download this cool shareable card! Email it or print it out, and give it to them with a hug! And show them a little extra appreciation with shout-outs on Facebook and Twitter. Don't forget to tag @gsnc and use the hashtag #NVW15!
